Mr. Wang graduated from University of Science & Technology of China in May 2017. While pursuing his undergraduate studies he conducted research on the properties of surface acoustic wave ring resonators, supervised by Dr. Hong X. Tang. Mr. Wang matriculated in the University of Maryland Department of Physics PhD program in August 2017. His starting project in the Britton Lab is numerical modeling of ion traps using the Boundary Element Method.
